Mobile application

SYKETTÄ Kuopio is a free mobile application that makes it easy to enroll for classes and turns. It also features an electronic sport sticker, so you do not necessarily need a sticker for your student card.

The app is free and it is available for Android and iOs. You can find it from Google Play and App store by name SYKETTÄ Kuopio.

Please notice:

1- The app is available in English! The language of the app depends on your phone’s language settings.

2- If you have trouble with finding the Sykettä app in Play Store or iOS store:

If you use iOS, make sure your phone’s country/region is set to Finland and that you are allowed to be shown apps from Finland in your iOS account settings (not the store settings). If you use Android, you can try to do the same in the Play Store settings, but with some people the account might be tied to your country. In this case, IT services have suggested that you might have to remove your account and add it again using Finland as your country this time.

3- If you cannot download the Sykettä app at all and do not have a plastic student card to which you could get a SYKETTÄ sticker, visit the ISYY office during opening hours and the staff will make you a plastic SYKETTÄ card.

The features

1 – Sports calendar

Browse the calendar by scrolling up, down, right and left. You can also use filters (the symbol in the up right corner) to look for certain type of exercise. In the lower right corner is the symbol which opens your sports sticker.

2 – Own schedule

Here you can see the classes you have enrolled for. Here it is easy also to cancel participation.

3 – Info

There is most important information about the stickers.

4 – Own sticker

You can show the mobile sticker every time you are asked to show your sports sticker. Please keep your student/staff card or id in case our inspector needs to see it.
